Robert Sydow

Mr. Sydow is the PIA High Yield Dept Head and has twenty-two years of high yield investment management experience. He founded Grandview Capital in 1999. From 1989 to 1999, he was VP, SVP, and Co-Portfolio Manager for SunAmerica Investments’ high yield bond department, which grew tenfold to $4 billion during his tenure. Previously, he spent three years as Treasurer, Asset/Liability Manager, and High Yield Portfolio Manager at First Interstate Bancorp and five years in various financial positions at Atlantic Richfield Company. Mr. Sydow received his joint undergraduate degrees (Summa Cum Laude) in Economics and History in 1977 from UCLA and joint graduate degrees with high honors in finance (M.B.A.) and law (Juris Doctor) in 1981 from UCLA.

Kevin Buckle, CFA

Portfolio Manager

Mr. Buckle has over nineteen years of experience in the investment management business. He joined Grandview Capital in June 2002 as a Portfolio Manager and was previously Managing Director at Willow Brook Capital, a private equity boutique. From 1994 to 2001, he was a Vice President, Director, and Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager of SunAmerica Investments, where he co-managed high yield bond, leveraged loan, and structured product portfolios. Mr. Buckle earned a B.S. in finance and accounting in 1986 and an M.B.A. with honors in 1990 from the University of Southern California. Mr. Buckle is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

James Lisko

Mr. Lisko has sixteen years of experience specializing exclusively in the management of high yield and distressed debt. He joined Grandview Capital in March 1999 as a Portfolio Manager. Previously, he was a Senior Analyst and Portfolio Manager at JPBT Advisors, a Senior Analyst at Western Asset Management, a Senior Analyst at SunAmerica Investments, and Director of Research at Papillon Partners. He received his joint undergraduate degrees in Finance and Accounting from Ohio State and his M.B.A. from the University of Miami.

Justine Ho, CPA

Vice President

Senior Analyst

Ms. Ho has thirteen years of experience in investment management. She joined Grandview Capital in May 2001 as a Senior Analyst. Prior to that she spent two years as a Senior Analyst in SunAmerica Investments’ Leveraged Financed Group and three years in Bear Stearns’ Investment Banking Group. Miss Ho received her B.A. in Business/Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1994. She also obtained her C.P.A. license in 1996 while she was a senior auditor at Deloitte and Touche, LLP.

Andre Shih, Ph.D

Senior Analyst

Mr. Shih has seven years of high yield investment management experience, all at Grandview Capital. Prior to joining Grandview, Andre held various consulting positions, including head of the Financial Institutions Practice at strategic consultants Stern Stewart & Co. He held various managerial and financial positions at Treasury Service Corporation, Fidelity Federal Bank, First Interstate Bank and Atlantic Richfield Company. Mr. Shih holds an M.A. in Economics and Ph.D. in Management from UCLA.
